Lately I have been practicing on my make up. This is a easy & simple look. I used my Kate (Rimmel London) 12 and paired it with my "Maybelline Eye Studio liner". If you are looking for new looks Check out this site.

Easy Protective Hair Style: Twist & Pin
- Start by putting moisture in your hair by Co-washing your hair. I like to use "Herbal Essence conditioner" as a leave in.
- Start by sectioning hair for twists. I didn't feel the need to use a comb, but it is up to you.
- Twist hair and make sure you create a interesting twist in front (use picture Right, Down for help).
- Use bobby pins to help hold the twist in place.
- A cute/simple headband is a great accessory for this natural hair style.

Protective Hair Style: Braids & Curls

How I achieved my Braid & Curl Mohawk:
If you know anything about my budget I like to save a couple of bucks. This hair-do was completely free. If you know someone or have a wonderful mother in-law ;-) you might be able to achieve this hair style for no cost.
Before styling you might want to consider blow drying your clean hair. It will limit the tangles and make your hair easier to manage.
The style is simple. Section the hair. Use a scrunchy to hold up the crown portion. Make sure that it's sectioned equally.
The braids are what gives this hairstyle the most interest. You can be as creative as you would like. You can also replace braids with twists.
Once your braids are in you can use Rollers with a small amount of mouse. If you don't have mouse, try some jell (Eco Styler) and water. Wait for curls to completely dry and style as desired.
Hope you enjoy and let me know if you try it! Don't forget to send me a link of your great hairstyling ideas.
